Meet Tom Waniewski.

Common Sense. Uncommon Leadership.

I have not been a career politician. I have been an Emmy Award winning investigative reporter, a successful business owner, and supporter of our non-profit agencies, prior to serving three terms on Toledo City Council.

My experience in business, service to community, and time in government has provided me with unique insights on what works and where we must make improvements in city government in order to advance.

I care deeply about my hometown and believe strongly that city government needs to do a better job at serving constituents and not serving itself. For these reasons, I have decided to run for Mayor of Toledo.

I invite you to come along with me as one Toledo and:

  1. Rethink City Government
  2. Rebuild Our Neighborhoods
  3. Restore Confidence

Learn more.

I am grateful that you took the complaints that citizens had regarding this issue and was able to bring it to the table for a fair compromise. Again, thank you for helping to solve this issue not just for my family but also for the other citizens of Toledo.
